SLI was founded by Kylan Nieh in 2011 as a Public Speaking and Leadership DeCal course taught at U.C. Berkeley's Haas School of Business. Communication, leadership, and public speaking skills are essential for every career, which is why SLI is aimed to help students develop confidence and skills in these areas.
