Mission Social Advocates for Youth is always there to serve the most vulnerable children, youth, and their families so they can realize their fullest potential to live their best lives. History SAY was founded in 1971 in Sonoma County, California in a two-room office located in downtown Santa Rosa. We began offering individual and family counseling to at-risk children, youth, and families in response to community leaders and youth advocates who were concerned about the lack of child abuse prevention and intervention services available. Today, SAY offers youth crisis, housing, counseling and career services throughout Sonoma County.
