The Social Workers Registration Board is a Crown entity which registers social workers in New Zealand. The country is making the move to mandatory registration on Feb 27, 2021 and we’re working hard to make sure all social workers know they need to be registered. · You will need to register if you want to keep practising as a social worker, if you call yourself a social worker, or if you are held out as a social worker.
