Millions of children and young people are deprived of the loving embrace of their families and growing up without the bond and support they need to prepare themselves for a brighter future. Together with partners, donors and communities, we are providing suitable alternative care to children and young people who lost parental care if it’s in their best interest. We are also preventing child-family separation through strengthening families, assisting young people transitioning into self-reliance, and responding to the urgent needs of children in times of emergencies. We speak up for children’s rights with like-minded organisations and advocate for positive change with and on behalf of children and young people. We are working in six locations across Bangladesh: Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Chattogram, Bogura and Sylhet. We started our journey in 1972, and so far, we supported more than 48 thousand people and are currently changing lives of around 16 thousand children, young people and caregivers.
