The South Dakota Department of Health is based in Pierre, SD, but maintains a statewide presence. We are dedicated in keeping South Dakotans healthy and strong, while providing them with the most up-to-date health related information to help them make better decisions for themselves, their families and their businesses. DOH delivers a wide range of public health services to prevent disease, promote health, and ensure access to needed, high-quality health care. The mission of DOH is working together to promote, protect, and improve health. We have a variety of Full-Time, Part-Time, and Internships available.
