South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive

South Yorkshire Public Transport Executive has been legally dissolved through ‘The South Yorkshire Passenger Transport (Transfer of Functions) Order 2023’ which came into force on 1st April 2023. The powers and functions have now been vested in the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (SYMCA). This means that tasks in relation to public passenger transport, such as managing travel passes and contracting services, will now be fulfilled by SYMCA.
