South Luzon Thermal Energy Corporation (SLTEC) owns a 2x135 Megawatt Circulating Fluidized Bed (CFB) Coal-Fired Power Plant located in Brgy. Puting Bato West, Calaca, Batangas, with the first unit commencing its commercial operations in April 2015, followed by the second unit in February 2016. In pursuit of generating safe and reliable electricity, SLTEC operates as a baseload plant and utilizes modern, clean, and environment-friendly technology to meet the power demand of Luzon.
