M/s. S. Alam Group (referred to as Sponsor) in association with SEPCOIII and HTG Development Group Co. Ltd. of China (the Developer consortium) is developing a coal based thermal power plant consisting of 2 units each of 660MW generation capacity (referred as ‘’Project’’) through SS Power I Limited (SSPL), a special purpose vehicle (SPV or Project company) at Paschim Gandamara upazila, Banashkhali district, Chittagong in Bangladesh. The power plant is being developed on build, own and operate (BOO) basis.
