STEM Racing is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to transforming the perception of STEM subjects through hands-on, real-world competition. Open to students aged 9-19, the challenge combines engineering, design, and business skills as teams use professional CAD software to design, analyse, manufacture, test, and race a miniature compressed air-powered car. This experience not only ignites a passion for innovation but also provides a direct pathway into careers in motorsport, engineering, and beyond—many alumni have gone on to work with Formula 1 teams and leading STEM industries. Through competition, creativity, and collaboration, STEM Racing is shaping the future of STEM talent.
