St Francis Catholic College provides a welcoming and supportive environment offering inclusive educational pathways that are flexible and designed to meet the needs of all students. We are a multi-campus, co-educational secondary school, formerly known as Catholic Regional College Melton. Our Melton West Campus opened in 1980 and caters for 1200 students in years 7 to 12. The campus has a dedicated and well-qualified team of 167 teaching and support staff. Our Cobblebank Campus opened in 2023 with 150 Year 7 students and 16 staff and will grow to accommodate up to 1500 Year 7-12 students by 2028. Our motto, Faith in Action, calls us to be beacons in our world and provide hope for the future. We inspire our students to live the gospel values they learn. Our vision is to have every student come to know that each has an inherent human dignity as they are all made in the image and likeness of God. We work to instil a love of learning, create a sense of hope and nurture strong aspirations in every student. We also recognise that our dedicated and passionate staff are the people who strive to achieve the best outcomes for our students and are the backbone of our community. At St Francis Catholic College, we foster lifelong learning to equip our staff with the skills to create engaging and exceptional student experiences. Ongoing and regular professional development is strongly supported and encouraged. Our commitment to continuous improvement and piloting new and innovative educational programs ensures contemporary learning is at the forefront of the opportunities we provide. Extensive support is also provided for graduate teachers through our dedicated VIT mentors. We guide new teachers to develop solid foundations with a view to building long and successful careers at the College. We emphasise a deep, authentic partnership with all members of the College community, students, parents, and teachers to ensure the best academic outcomes.
