Stockholms Auktionsverk is the oldest auction house in the world, founded in 1674. Today, it can be considered a trading floor for Swedish and international cultural history – with its three auction houses in Stockholm and seven additional branches in Gothenburg, Malmö, Helsingborg, Helsinki, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, and Cologne.
