Tahasil Educational & Welfare Trust

Tahasil Educational & Welfare Trust (TEWT) is a grassroots level, registered, charitable non-profit organization, located in Binjharpur (Dist: Jajpur), in the state of Odisha, India, operating since 2011. We are focused to serve the local communities in the fields of education and socio-economic welfare. TEWT runs a mainstream, Pre-K to Std 7, CBSE pattern, English Medium Primary School, called Haarith Islamic Public School, where about 250 local children study currently (as of Jan-2022). Besides this, the other sub-entities it runs are as follows:  A Muslim Seminary (Madrasa) for extremely poor or orphans (aged 5 to 17) – Jamia Abdullah bin Masood (R.A). This has a full-time, free boarding facility with food for the students and staff. The current student capacity stands at 30.  A Mosque – Masjid Abu Bakar Al Siddique (R.A).  A Welfare Wing – General welfare activities, such as, Emergency Food Distribution to the poor, Relief Distribution during Natural Disasters, Youth Counselling Services, etc. For further information, please visit https://tahasil.org/
