Ignite builds on Teach For America’s over 30 years of experience recruiting and developing leaders to partner with schools across the country to help students overcome the systemic barriers to an excellent education. Leveraging research-based best practices for high-impact tutoring, the Ignite Fellowship brings exceptional leaders into classrooms virtually to immediately add value with students and schools through customized learning. What is the Ignite Fellowship? Ignite leverages research-based best practices for high-impact tutoring to accelerate student learning and foster belonging. - 3-5 hours per week for 10-13 weeks - 2-4 students per Fellow - Elementary reading, middle school math, high school college and career access - Leverages school curriculum - During K-12 school hours - Student groups are consistent to deepen relationships - Ongoing training and development from Teach For America and veteran educators Fall Fellowship: September - December 2025 Spring Fellowship: January - April 2026 Award at the conclusion of the fellowship - up to $1,200 award (pre-tax). Fellows can expect a $1,000 base award and are eligible to earn a $100 perfect attendance bonus and, upon renewing for 2nd+ semester, an additional $100 renewal bonus (pre-tax). Who are the Fellows?
