Tehran Regional Electric Company (TREC)

Tehran Regional Electric Company is one of the 16 regional electricity companies of Iran, all of which are a subsidiary of Tavanir Specialized Company (Iranian Electricity Production, Transmission and Distribution Management Joint Stock Company). The set of duties of this company are the activities that are notified by the Ministry of Energy of Iran as supervisory activities and implementation of executive policies and include planning, monitoring production, transfer and development of facilities. The geographical scope of activities of Tehran Regional Electricity Company, as the largest regional electricity company in Iran, includes the three provinces of Tehran, Alborz and Qom.
