Global demand for live video over the cellular network is growing due to market drivers such as Facebook live, Instagram live, Autonomous vehicles, and smart city video surveillance. However, the capability to transmit live video, the most bandwidth-hungry data, on cellular networks is limited due to their lack of bandwidth, creating a global communication bottleneck. By adapting the video stream to a cellular network in real-time, Telicomm's software platform enables transmitting live video over any cellular network. While it has numerous potential applications, Telicomm has decided to initially focus (Go-to-market strategy) on enabling smart city HD cameras connectivity over cellular networks, breaking through their traditional boundaries of limited cellular bandwidth.
