TerpTax, Inc.

TerpTax, Inc. is a non-profit corporation and shall be operated exclusively for educational and charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code 19866, or the corresponding section of any future Federal Tax code. The purposes of TerpTax, Inc. is to provide free tax preparation services to low to mid-income individuals in the University of Maryland, College Park community according to VITA/TCE guidelines, to educate the public about taxes, and to provide both a valuable community service and a powerful hands-on learning experience for students of the Robert H. Smith School of Business.
