The Academy International School

The Academy International School, was opened in Mallorca, Spain in 1985 with 25 children and two teachers. It originally started up as a Summer School which, due to its success and ongoing support from the parents, continued on as a preparatory school. We now have over 315 pupils following the British curriculum whose ages range from 2 to 18 years. We have been inspected by the Cambridge University Examination Board and are a recognised examination centre. We are a member of the National Association of British Schools in Spain and are inspected regularly both by British Inspectors and Inspectors from the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science. In addition we are very proud to be the first International British School to bring the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) to Mallorca!
