The Baby Sitter cushion is a polyurethane foam that promotes and facilitates the natural process of motor development skills by strengthening core-muscles. Similar to how an adult would use resistance bands to strengthen core, infants are placed into the center-well of the The Baby Sitter Cushion, and kick and push against the base of the foam walls. This assists the natural process by strengthening muscles that are required for propping up and sitting. A child can also be placed on his or her tummy to strengthen core muscles required for crawling. Eventually a child will be able to push off against The Baby Sitter cushion to assist himself or herself in the walking process. After an infant has learned to walk, The Baby Sitter cushion can later be used to further motor development skills of a child's mobility, lifting and placing, proper first grip, four-finger grip, and eventually the pincer grip, zipper abilities, and so forth.
