The Cardinal Hume Centre believes each person matters. We focus our efforts on young people, children and families in need. We want to tackle homelessness, poor housing and poverty now, and break its cost and cycle into later life. We see the value in each individual and nurture potential, helping young people, children and families to thrive. We work with young people, children and their families who are at risk of homelessness. We provide emergency support and enable long term outcomes in: Housing - averting homelessness, identifying suitable accommodation, helping people manage their rent and improve their security of tenure. Income and work - advice to enable economic stability, supporting sustainable employment. Citizenship & belonging - stabilising and regularising immigration status. Wellbeing, learning and family support - support for children, enhanced learning and literacy through play and helping parents build their connections and resilience. Every person who comes to the Centre has different needs and we offer a comprehensive response on one site in Westminster, so that people can make informed choices about their future.
