The Davis UWC Scholars Program

271 employees

The Davis United World College Scholars Program provides financial aid to graduates of the 18 United World College (UWC) high schools to pursue higher education. Davis UWC scholars study at almost 100 partner colleges and universities across the United States. Co-founded by philanthropist Shelby Davis and international educator Phil Geier in 2000, the Davis United World College Scholars Program has two guiding principles: 1) Provide exceptional students with great educational opportunities they might not otherwise be able to afford. 2) Transform collegiate campuses in the United States into more globally-engaged spaces where students from all backgrounds benefit from international perspectives. With almost 4,000 current Davis scholars and more than 13,000 alumni, the DUWCSP has grown into the largest scholarship program for international students in the United States.
