The University of Jordan

The University of Jordan (Arabic الجامعة الأردنية) is a government-supported university located in Amman- Jordan. It was established in 1962 and is the largest and oldest university in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan. The university employs about 3000 faculty and staff members serving more than 38,000 students. The University of Jordan is located in the Jubaiha area, District of University, Amman and is considered as one of the most prestigious universities in the Arab World.
