Theovision International

In Africa, 70% of the population can not read and write. These people communicate through Oral means. However, research shows that just a small portion of the world's resources (approx. 10%) is invested in producing oral content to reach non-readers and oral communicators; whereas majority (approx. 90%) of the resources goes into producing hard copy literature to reach the minority in terms of access. Theovision International is a nonprofit Christian organization that seeks to use oral content as a means of transforming the lives of oral communicators in oral cultures; by providing audio content (Audio Bibles, Training Materials and other educational materials) in indigenous languages that they best understand. We use cutting-edge oral methods and technology such as solar powered audio playback devices, to make these oral materials accessible to the unreached in Africa. Theovision is also transforming many lives through the provision of clean potable Water, Free Health Care and Training (skills development) in many deprived communities in Ghana through residual impact.
