The Weatherhead Fund

The Weatherhead Fund is a student-managed investment fund at Case Western Reserve University. Founded in 2011 with a $100,000 donation, we have since grown our portfolio to approximately $900,000 by long-only equity investing. The Fund's forty members are organized into five sector verticals: Consumer, Financial Technology (FinTech), Diversified Industrials & Energy, Technology, Media, & Telecommunications (TMT), and Healthcare. By working alongside experienced upperclassmen, members of each vertical quickly become experts in their assigned sector. They also become adept investors through routine financial modeling, credit analysis, and equity research.
