Thor Explorations Limited (THX:TSX-V) is a gold exploration and development company focussed on delivering high value gold projects in West Africa. Thor is currently advancing two high quality gold projects gold projects, the near-term production high grade Segilola Gold Project in Nigeria and the Douta Gold Project in Senegal. Thor also has a JV with Acacia Mining in the Houndé Greenstone Belt in south-west Burkina Faso. At Segilola, Thor is currently undertaking a Definitive Feasibility Study, which has a current a probable reserve of 448,000 ounces grading at 4.2 g/t, within an indicated resource of 556,000 ounces grading at 4.2g/t and an additional inferred resource of 306,000 ounces grading at 4.7g/t. Thor is targeting first production at Segilola in early 2020. Thor’s second project, the Douta Gold Project in south-eastern Senegal lies within the Kénéiba Inlier, which hosts significant gold resources and has attracted major international mining companies. The Douta Project has a discovery and previous drilling success by Thor and excellent resource potential. Thor has an ongoing drill program at Douta and is targeting a maiden resource in 2018. Thor’s JV with Acacia Mining, the Central Houndé Project comprises 454km2 of the prospective Houndé Greenstone Belt. Acacia Mining is currently undertaking an earn-in offering Thor excellent option value. Additionally, Thor recently acquired 334km2 of exploration tenements in Nigeria covering significant sections of the structural trends that extend northwards from the Segilola gold deposit where it intends to capitalise on its first mover advantage in Nigeria by generating a strong project growth pipeline.
