Tractors Nepal Private Limited (TNPL)

In 1974, TIL Limited extended its distribution of Cat® products to Nepal. As construction activities expanded and new opportunities appeared on the horizon, Tractors Nepal Private Limited (TNPL) was formed in 2000 as a wholly owned subsidiary of TIPL (Tractors India Pvt. Ltd.). The company provides product support for the entire range of Cat engines and machines. This includes refurbishing, rebuilding & servicing of Cat Construction & Earthmoving Equipment & Diesel Generator Sets. Operating out of Nakhu in Lalitpur Municipality near Kathmandu, the Company also offers the complete range of original Cat products and spare parts, coupled with seamless aftermarket support. It imports Cat spare parts and accessories from Caterpillar S.A.R.L. in Singapore TNPL also maintains a complete inventory of Cat parts required for maintenance & repair. Cat India Pvt. Ltd. (CIPL) has started manufacturing Cat Hydraulic Excavator models viz. 320D2 & Cat Backhoe Loader 424B at their CIPL Thiruvallur workshop for the past 3 / 4 years. TNPL exists in Nepal to provide necessary after-sales product support with Off-the-Shelf availability of spare parts at TNPL Nakhu workshop, Lalitpur, Kathmandu.
