Town of Fairhaven

Fairhaven is a town in Bristol County, Massachusetts, United States. Located approximately 50 miles south of Boston, MA and 35 miles east of Providence, RI, the Town of Fairhaven was settled in 1659 and incorporated in 1812. Fairhaven shares a harbor with the city of New Bedford, a place well known for its whaling and fishing heritage; consequently, Fairhaven's history, economy, and culture are closely aligned with those of its larger neighbor.
