Catholic University of De La Salle Manado

Catholic University of De La Salle Manado was founded in 2000 by Mgr. Josef Suwatan in response to the 1997 monetary crisis in Indonesia. Recognizing that quality higher education could help address the crisis, Bishop Suwatan collaborated with the De La Salle Brothers from the Philippines to establish the university. The De La Salle Brothers, dedicated to education since their founding in Rheims, France in 1680, were chosen for their expertise and commitment to educational development. Show more Show less
