The University of Valle de Atemajac, better known by the acronym UNIVA, is a superior Catholic and private educational system present in 7 States of the Mexican Republic and in eleven cities: Guadalajara, Aguascalientes, Colima, La Piedad, Lagos de Moreno, León, Queretaro, Puerto Vallarta, Tepic, Uruapan, and Zamora de Hidalgo. The University of Valle de Atemajac is a Catholic educational community which is guided by the spirit of the Apostolic Constitution Ex Corde Ecclesiae and contributes in a rigorous and critical way to the protection and development of human dignity and cultural heritage, Through research, teaching and the various services offered to local, national and international communities. UNIVA's mission is to train people and professionals of human, scientific and technological quality, committed to the transformation of the community and social responsibility, through a pedagogy of its own, focused on the search for truth, freedom and Transcendent meaning of the human being, and supported by the continuous dialogue between faith and culture.
