UniversCiné (Le Meilleur du Cinéma)

Founded in 2001, Le Meilleur du Cinéma is France's leading provider of independent streaming services with UniversCiné and Filmo, offering over 12,000 films on EST/DTR and +1000 films in its subscription. Le Meilleur du Cinéma is also licencing majors independent European films to third-party broadcasters and streaming services (through its UniversCiné Trading branch), and releases a selection of titles on DVDs and Blu-ray discs through its Blaq Out subsidiary. The company is owned by some fifty independent French producers including Metropolitan Filmexport, Haut et Court, Dulac Distribution, Les Films du Losange, MK2 Films, Diaphana, Les Films Pelléas and The Party Film Sales.
