Universitas Almuslim

Universitas Almuslim (Umuslim) is a private institution located in Bireuen Regency, Aceh, Indonesia, established on 15 January 2003. It is the only university in Bireuen. The university evolved from several higher education institutions previously under Perguruan Tinggi Almuslim, including Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pertanian (STP), Sekolah Tinggi Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan (STKIP), and Akademi Manajemen Informatika dan Komputer (AMIK), which were founded on 1 August 1985. Vision: To become an excellent, professional, and Islamic university. Mission: 1. Enhance the quality of education through research-based learning. 2. Increase research based on local wisdom as a guide for development policy-making. 3. Strengthen community service as a means of educating society. 4. Improve the professionalism of the university. 5. Boost productivity through partnerships to support the implementation of the three pillars of higher education (Tridharma Perguruan Tinggi).
