The Sydney Young Entrepreneurs Society is the hub for student entrepreneurship at the University of Sydney, one of Australia's largest and leading universities . Attracting young entrepreneurs as well as students who are already in business, we seek to offer value to our members by offering networking opportunities, bringing in high-profile speakers to campus each year through numerous events, as well as offering competitions. We co-run the university-wide Genesis business plan competition, offering $10,000 in prize money. YES enjoys strong links with entrepreneurs, faculty, and other student entrepreneurial organizations across Australia. Several of our members are involved in startup ventures. The organization is currently seeking to grow through several new initiatives for 2010.
