UR.DAD’s is an extension of the many voices of men and women who are committed to the healthy development of their children. The job of a parent is never finished until our last breath on this earth. And even after that, our legacies live on through the values and principles we have installed into our children. We live in a society now where there is unlimited access to information, and not all information is good information. We must protect and filter the information that our children are exposed to. We also live in a society where there are parents who aren’t ready or don’t want to be parents. This doesn’t hurt anyone else but our children, which will in turn hurt us as parents and adults. At the end of the day, the children will inherit the earth. It is our job as fathers and mothers to protect and influence our children in a positive manner. The purpose of this blog is to uplift and encourage all of the fathers that are there for their children. This blog is for the men out there who aren’t ready to be fathers, where we can provide education and experiences on what to expect. This blog is for men who don’t want to be fathers, where we can express to you your value and how much your children need you, in hopes of altering your perspective on being a father. This blog is also for the women who have to play the role of fathers, because of the men who do not want to be. We recognize and acknowledge you. My name is Wilburforce Payton Greene Sr. and I am the proud father of 3 amazing boys. They go by the names of Juju, Lucky, and Kash. They are my world. And I wouldn’t be a father without them. This blog is a direct extension of my experiences and me as a father, and I would like to use this platform to express these experiences with all of you. So as an acknowledgement to the world who accompany me on this journey of Fatherhood, UR.DAD’s.
