The Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA) was founded in 1892 and is the largest senior community football league in Australia with 70 clubs playing across six senior men's sections & six senior women's across all of metropolitan Melbourne. The VAFA is the home of representative football and was the first to wear the now famous Big V jumper when they clashed against South Australia in 1925.
