Vishnu Dental College and Hospital (VDC&H) was established in 2002 in a sprawling green campus in the outskirts of Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh (India) with a mission to provide utmost quality oral health care to the communities and foster the development of dental profession. Vishnu Dental Community Outreach (VDCO) is initiated with a mission to take affordable quality dental care accessible to rural areas; through Primary Care and Secondary Care programs. Rural Satellite Clinics (Secondary Care) is a Social Entrepreneurial initiative that takes affordable quality dental care accessible to rural areas; also provides a dynamic platform for passionate young dental professionals to engage in Rural Dentistry in their first 2 years of career and gain entrepreneurial skills so that they are more confident to reach out to serve in rural areas. The flagship Primary Care programs include Suraksha (A School-based Dental Health Program), 100 Smiles (providing Complete Dentures to support-less senior citizens), Pratham (training frontline health workers on Preventive Oral Health), Community Screening and Treatment Camps through Mobile Dental Unit. We collaborate with NGOs, CSRs and like-minded cross industry professionals towards widening (secondary and primary care services, technology adaptation) and deepening (process optimization, innovation etc).
