Volunteers of America is the charity that always steps forward to help the most vulnerable. Since 1896 Volunteers of America has taken on the most difficult tasks to help the most underserved. Volunteers of America Northern New England touches the lives of more than 6,000 people in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont. With nearly 30 programs we provide basic human necessities such as shelter and food or life-renewing assistance such as life skills training, rehabilitation, counseling, wrap-around support services, case management services, community mediation, connection to community resources, and more. With the gains made via our strategy & partnership between Retention Leader Tony Elias and the GPTW organization, and because of the wonderful staff at VOA outpouring their voices in support of our culture of increased professionalism and inclusivity, VOA is once again a Great Place to Work (tm) certified organization! Evidence-based programming encourages positive development, fosters independence and promotes the type of self-sufficiency that can change someone's life. When you support the work of Volunteers of America Northern New England you make a difference in your state— and your community — one person at a time.
