Through a rigorous and dynamic American international education, WBAIS, a private secular school in Israel, inspires each student to cultivate a respect for diversity, develop a passion for life-long learning, achieve academic potential, assume leadership, contribute actively to society, and resolve conflict through dialogue and understanding. Established under the auspices of the American Embassy over 50 years ago, WBAIS is a private, co-educational K-12 international school offering an American program leading to a US high school diploma. The school is structured in four levels: Preschool, Elementary School (K-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). WBAIS is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools (MSA) and holds the MSA International Credential. The new state-of-the-art 19-acre campus is located in the town of Even Yehuda, a residential community approximately 14 miles north of Tel Aviv. The campus includes four separate schools, a performing arts building and auditorium, a gym, a full cafeteria, a library and media center, athletic fields, tennis and basketball courts, a pool, and many other facilities (including a dark room, art rooms, a fitness center, and a video station). The Jerusalem campus, JAIS, serves students from preschool through grade 12, and is a branch of WBAIS.
