Modeling the ancient Zeer Pot, Veera reduces the volume of food loss during transportation, streamlines distribution networks, and offers better control of quality and safety of fresh foods. By tackling the lack of cold storage solutions as a cause of food waste, Veera will help re-energize the Indian agricultural community. In essence, Veera will capitalize on existing energy sources and infrastructure in order to create more sustainable income for local farmers, democratize fresh food availability throughout India, and treat a fundamental cause of malnutrition in India.
