The Wellington City Mission

The Wellington City Mission is and has been a well-loved and trusted charity since 1904. The three key areas of focus are responding to the housing shortage, offering food support, and mobilizing volunteering. People and families are finding the opportunities they need to transform their lives through supported Transitional Housing, the Social Supermarket, Tā te Manawa (community Lounge), social work support, and much more. We are a lead charity in Wellington supporting many other social service agencies in the greater Wellington region.
