Wellington College in England was founded by Queen Victoria in 1859 as a national monument to Great Britain’s most renowned military figure, the Duke of Wellington, Field Marshal Arthur Wellesley, who also served the country with distinction twice as Prime Minister. Being the fourth addition to the Wellington College family worldwide, Wellington College Hangzhou is composed of Hiba Academy Hangzhou, Hiba Academy Hangzhou(Nursery) and Wellington College International Hangzhou. At Wellington College International Hangzhou, we base our curriculum on the British national curriculum offering IGCSE and A Level courses through an immersive English learning environment. We provide a unique, authentic British-style international education for international pupils aged 5 to 18 years old to achieve academic excellence. Graduates from our sister schools in the Wellington College family have been admitted into world class institutes of higher learning, such as Oxford University, Cambridge University and Ivy League member schools in the USA.
