Women Enterprise Fund was established in 2007 with five mandates which address, financial inclusion through affordable credit, capacity building, market linkages, marketing opportunities and infrastructure development all geared towards economic and social empowerment of women at the bottom of the pyramid. It is a flagship project in the Kenya V.2030 and promotes the 1st and 5th SDG.
