Woodpie is a social network that helps us achieve just this- connecting readers all over the world with each other. Woodpie helps discover and acquire your next favorite book through the people you trust. Woodpie lets readers make bookshelves and make wish lists. Readers are encouraged to exchange books and even suggest meet-ups. People can see what their friends are reading and read their recommendations. It also helps in creating new connections between people who like similar books. And if they live in the same city, they can set-up a meeting on the website and can meet over coffee or so to exchange books and discuss literature.
