About Workplace Health and Safety Queensland (WHSQ) is responsible for improving work health and safety in Queensland workplaces and helping reduce the risk of workers being killed or injured on the job. We assist businesses to comply with the work health and safety laws, educate employers and employees on their legal obligations, investigate workplace fatalities and serious injuries and enforce the legislation.
