The Short family has been at the core of the Australian hospitality industry since the 1970s, when husband and wife team Warwick and Ros Short began owning and operating hotels such as The Stoned Crow, Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel, The Marlborough in Newtown & The Racecourse Hotel in Randwick. Warwick had a huge passion for the hospitality industry, and used his charismatic personality to create the best possible experiences for customers and staff. After Warwick sadly passed away, W Short Hospitality was created in loving memory of a larger than life hospitality father and husband. The Business is now run by his daughter Paris Ballantyne, along with mother Ros Short, with the aim of continuing his legacy and instilling his beliefs into its venues and staff. Today the group owns and operates The Australian Heritage Hotel in The Rocks and The Royal Hotel in Leichhardt,
