Zhubanov University

Founded in 1935 as Aktobe State Pedagogical Institute, the university has adopted its current name in 2013 due to the reorganization by merging two institutions. Today K.Zhubanov Aktobe Regional State University (also known as ARU) is one of the leading regional universities in West Kazakhstan.
